13 years… That’s how long it took before Hans Mortelmans gave his family and close friends a brief preview of what he had in mind. His songs needed a recipe like that of a real belgian stew: a dash of good belgian beer (Trappist Westmalle) and a lot of time to simmer. The songs were served when Lodewijk Dedain joined in to give them the spice they needed: La Pompe Manouche. –last.fm
